I want to start this post with a question: what are the 3 most important characteristics of a CRM system?
In my opinion the answer is that a CRM system is equivalent with attracting and retaining customers, but also with efficient activity.
The target of a CRM implementation should be the automation of the processes, from the sales stages to the manager’s approvals, but also to register (log in) all communications between reps and customers. All of these mean at the end efficient sales and efficient activity.

With a CRM system, your sales reps will have available in a single place all the information about the customers, and your departments will work efficiently together with one centralized view of the customers.

How a CRM will increase your revenue?

With a CRM system you can standardize the processes and eliminate as much as possible the human mistakes. With CRM tools you can manage, measure and improve your processes, and of course that you can create workflow rules, for example you can ensure that your sales teams follow specific stages in the sales cycle.

How a CRM will short the sales process?

With a CRM you can be sure that the members of each department are collaborating efficiently and correctly. Your marketing efforts to close the deal are helped by the visibility across the departments of a CRM system. You can even manage post sales support.
When using CRM, a sales rep can more easily share information with different departments which make faster the sales cycle.

How a CRM will help you to manage resources?

Not only that you’re tracking how you spend your money on marketing efforts or what’s happening during the sales, but with CRM analytics tools, such as reports, you can measure your efforts, so you’re making money faster and more efficiently.

To all of these I will add that using a CRM system you will simplify your marketing, you will understand the needs of your customers and you will be able to improve your services.
